This Privacy Notice explains how TapToCrunch ("TapToCrunch," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information through this website and its placement-request and privacy-request forms. It applies to website visitors and business or venue representatives who contact us. It does not govern the separate practices of a venue where a machine is ultimately installed.
Information we collect
Information you provide. A placement request may include your placement goal, venue type, estimated foot traffic, preferred timeline, name, business name, email address, and phone number. A privacy request may include your name, email address, request type, and any details you choose to provide.
Limited technical information. Our server and Cloudflare temporarily process your IP address, browser and device signals, and standard request information to deliver and secure the site, operate Turnstile bot detection, and rate-limit form submissions. We do not store your IP address with a submitted form. Cloudflare may maintain operational and security logs under its own retention and privacy practices.
How we use information
We use personal information to evaluate and respond to placement inquiries; communicate about a requested or active business relationship; match a venue with an appropriate machine and service plan; process privacy requests; maintain the security and reliability of the website; prevent spam or misuse; comply with law; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not use placement-request information for unrelated automated decision-making. We may create aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably capable of identifying you and use it for legitimate business planning.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to Cloudflare and other hosting, infrastructure, security, or professional-service providers that process it for us; to public authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information, rent contact lists, or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. This website currently uses no advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or nonessential cookies.
Retention and security
Placement-request records are not automatically deleted after a fixed period. We retain them while reasonably necessary for business follow-up, relationship management, legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes, and delete or de-identify them when they are no longer reasonably necessary. Privacy-request records are retained for up to 24 months to document and complete the request. Temporary rate-limit records expire after approximately 15 minutes.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, including access-restricted cloud database records, input validation, Turnstile bot detection, rate limiting, HTTPS, and browser security headers. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information connected with your submission, or withdraw consent for future contact. We may need to verify your identity and may retain or decline to delete information where permitted or required by law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Because this site does not track visitors for advertising, browser-based "Do Not Track" and opt-out preference signals do not change its current behavior. If our practices change, we will update this notice and any legally required controls.
Children and changes
This business-inquiry website and its forms are intended for adults acting for businesses or venues. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child submitted personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may use the request form below to notify us.
We may update this notice as our website or legal obligations change. We will post the revised notice here and change the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted when required by law.
